HALF DAYANCIENT CORINTH
About 70 miles west of Athens and 1 and a half hour-drive, we meet the Corinth canal, 4 miles long which connects the Aegean sea with the Corinthian Gulf and the Ionian sea. After taking some photos we continue to the outdoor and indoor museum of Ancient Corinth, an important city because of its location. It is one of the towns which Apostole Paul visited and lived for about 18 months. In the outdoor archeological area you can see the temple of Apollo, the ancient Agora and the step “Vima” where Apostole Paul was lead to be fried by the Roman Gallio, who refused to prosecute him. We will continue to the Acrocorinth, visit the castle with the same name, which has a breathtaking view of the Corinthian Gulf.
